And the Grand Prize Winner is...

Whew! A bit of a runaround day of northern Dayton. Hit up Urbana, Troy, Tipp City, and Piqua, not to mention the countless other small podunk towns in between. Some without traffic lights and a full set of teeth! Anyway, the trip was not without its prizes: Urbana resulted in a used A/C unit; Tipp City, a free lunch at my company picnic.

But that's not all. See, our company really outdid itself this year to go out of its way to make sure that every employee present at the picnic would go home with a door prize. So! They asked several of our local businesses and service providers for prize inputs. Laid out on a table, we were given the choice of three gifts. Pick what you want from the three, that way you don't get stuck with something you couldn't use.

Early on, my name got called. Didn't really have a choice: one was a poker set, which I can't imagine myself using too frequently; another, a golf set with some lame accessories (water bottle! no...). So, the choice was pretty obvious: a night's stay at the local Drury Inn Suites, redeemable only at that location. Which is alright, I suppose.

But funny! That's exactly the same prize I won in a raffle last year. At the time, it only made sense for my brother, roommate and I to attend (first for free drinks / pool time, then later to watch Billy Madison). Kinda silly, kinda random. But really strange, in a way, that I would get the same thing, twice.

And that pic? That's the bathtub!
